JAGUAR E-TYPE S1 3.8 ROADSTER

1962. Finished in Opalescent Dark Blue with Grey interior and a Blue hood, the original combination of this phenomenal full matching numbers U.K. R.H.D E-type. Supplied new by Henlys, London on April 26 1962 and has since covered a staggeringly low and genuine 19,000 miles with two owners and still retains ME 22, its very valuable registration mark that's been on the car from new.


This unbelievably original early straight rear bulk head 3.8 has been in the same ownership since 1967, 59 years and has been sitting in a dry garage on stands under cover since it was last on the road in the seventies.

All of the above is confirmed by the cars fantastic history that boasts its original buff logbook, heritage certificate, bills and old M.O.Ts dated from the sixties.

ME 22 is transferable and has been valued north of £25,000 though our opinion is that it must stay with the car.

Simply unrepeatable. A car so original the body number is still chalked under the bonnet.
